The April's Army store will be having a sale the first week of April. If you're not familiar with April's Army, here's the rundown.
April's Army is the charity arm of Regretsy. It's a bunch of fat, jealous losers donating their handmade and vintage items for sale to benefit the Regretsy charity fund, and in turn, that money is dispersed to crafters in need.
Over the past two years, Regretsy readers and founder April Winchell have raised over $180,000 for various charitable endeavours, including sending someone to college, helping cancer patients while they were pursuing treatment, providing assistance to families of people battling terminal and chronic illnesses, and providing supplemental funding to HIV/AIDS charities.
Pictured above is the beautifully puckered bottom of a rainbow bag, called the Dolores Park Bag, I am donating to this month's charity sale. I'm especially excited, because this is the first sale we've had in a while.
Below, additional pictures of my donations this month--the hellephant cross stitch, and the Dolores Park Bag.
Also, I'm working on a new cross stitch pattern. It's NSFW, so follow the jump if you want to see it. Don't forget to pass along your comments and tell me what you think!
