I'm pleased as punch to see Pantone pick such a bright, fun cobalt blue as the color of the year for 2014 (and emerald was, by far, my favorite color!) I'm sure to incorporate lots into my designs.

Above is a quick little treasury I put together showcasing the color. It's got punch!

The seasons are changing; the smell of crackling logs and clean earth and new wool are in the air. So has the direction of my shop and my crafting.

I've stepped away from a lot of old ideas--and come up with a lot new. This update is in pictures, mainly, to show you what I've been working on lately.

To the left: a hand-knit cabled mug cozy in my hand dyed worsted yarn in Sunnyside, a lemony-yellow ombre yarn that has a self-striping effect.
