I'm working on a new project today, with my own take on a Ravelry pattern I love. I've seen these made, several times, and absolutely loved them--but I don't want a pullover-style poncho. I want something more like a wrap.

I love this cabled poncho. I really do--but it just won't work for me. So I've decided to rework the pattern to instead be a wrap-around shawl. It may take me a couple of weeks, but I'm going to do it, hell or high water. I picked up some more yarn yesterday, and have been working away at bags as well, but I feel it's time to make myself something I truly love, and something that would be useful--especially in the Bay Area, with it's cool weather mornings and warm afternoons.
